We’ve partnered with the brand throughout its evolution from Alaskan Hardgear to AKHG, helping bring it to life across channels. Currently, AKHG is inspired by and made for those who thrive outdoors, embracing any challenge the wilderness throws their way.

Bespoke Seamless, Repeating Pattern Design
Asked to create a pattern for use on AKHG apparel, our creative director dove right into sketching options that would evoke the spirit of the great state known as “The Last Frontier”. Some motifs suggested by the client included salmon, biplanes, and bear paw prints. Then our creative director hit upon a bold, graphic solution. She tapped into the brand’s Alaskan essence to design a unique, seamless repeating pattern using the state’s distinct shape. Our complex, custom pattern was created in multiple colors as well as three and five layer versions for various applications. The pattern was originally featured on five star-rated performance shirts, with plans for future use on other items. Paper Robot has also worked on badge and t-shirt designs, and print pieces for the AKHG brand.
