Same Heart, New Start
As a member of the Monona Grove Nursery School Board of Directors, our creative director was proud to volunteer her time and talents to support the school’s capital campaign. We developed a playful yet meaningful logo and cohesive branding to capture the spirit of the campaign, along with print collateral designed to serve as impactful leave-behinds for donor meetings.
If you would like to support this wonderful, play-based, screen-free nursery school, please consider making a donation. Contributions of any amount make a significant impact and are greatly appreciated. MGNS is a 501c3 non profit organization.

What we did for Monona Grove Nursery School’s Same Heart New Start Capital Campaign
Meaningful Name and Identity
We developed a compelling and meaningful brand to support the school’s big move, centered around the name Same Heart, New Start—a message that reassures the community the school’s spirit and values remain unchanged, even in a new location. To bring the concept to life visually, we designed a mark that’s both polished and playful, incorporating heart and sun icons to symbolize the school’s caring spirit, joy, and new beginnings. Our creative director thoughtfully integrated the swirl motif from the original MGNS logo, ensuring a sense of familiarity, and curated a color palette that harmonizes with the school’s existing branding.
Copywriting that Connects, Design with Heart
To support the campaign, our creative director crafted clear, compelling copy that struck a thoughtful balance between storytelling and a call to action. This messaging was brought to life across a suite of impactful materials, including a leave-behind brochure, flyers, and presentation boards. The school’s designer extended the Same Heart, New Start branding into a dedicated section on the MGNS website and created a coordinating print mailer to reach the broader community.
Currently, MGNS has reached 30% of their fundraising goal. With the campaign running through Fall 2026, there’s ample time—and opportunity—to help them get there. We invite you to learn more about their 65-year legacy and be part of their next chapter by supporting the capital campaign.
